Return of the Copa: Copa 17.1

Adidas adds to their 3 boot lineup with a reimagining of a classic.  The Copa Mundial was originally released for the 1982 World Cup and has since become Adidas’ most iconic boot.  The original Copa has been subject to few changes over the years, opting to maintain the quality and craftsmanship that makes it such a hit.  It has a Kangaroo leather upper and a classic 12 round stud configuration.  With a long history and clearly a fan favorite Adidas has not done away with the original Copa.  With the reinvention of the Copa Adidas has gone above and beyond.  Released in a red, black, and white the first ever Copa 17 was released in November 2016.    Maintaining the quality Kangaroo leather in the forefoot, the Copa 17 adds a new soleplate which promotes a significant weight reduction.  It also adds a synthetic heel cup which is lined with an extremely comfortable padding.  The boot will retail at $200.  The Copa 17.1 takes the classic Copa Mundial style to new heights and will surely become a staple in the Adidas line up.
